BTSE will be updating contract sizes for the below contracts on 10:30 AM (UTC+8), June 30, 2024.
During the maintenance period, the following will occur:
- Trading for these contracts will cease from 10:30 (UTC+8) to 11:30 (UTC+8)
- Open orders and TWAP orders for these contracts will be canceled at 10:30 (UTC+8). This includes take-profit and stop-loss settings for existing positions.
- Traders will not be able to open, close, or reduce positions for these contracts during this period.
- Existing positions for these contracts may be liquidated during this period if the market price reaches your liquidation price
- Trading bots for these contracts will be shut down at 10:00 (UTC+8); please consider shutting down your trading bots ahead of time to reduce liquidation risk
When the maintenance period ends, you need to restart your app to see the updated position and order sizes. Afterwards, you will have found the following:
- The contract sizes will have changed
- Your trading history may be affected; while the contract sizes will remain the same for previous trades, their values will reflect the updated sizes
- The crypto value of your positions will not change. However, the position size (in # of contracts) will change
