future perpetual tokens

And just like that, we’ve entered the second half of the year!

2024 has been a year for listing all sorts of tokens, from memecoins to AI, DeFi, DePIN, and more.

Here’s a list of all the 14 perpetual futures contracts we’ve listed so far this year:

Memecoins

1. Book of Meme (
BOME-PERP): Book of Meme is an experimental project built by Darkfarms, with goals to preserve meme culture on the blockchain through digital archiving, ensuring that valuable intellectual property assets won’t be lost to the annals of time.

2. Dog Wif Hat (WIF-PERP): A memecoin supported on the Solana network. Its name, “a dog with a hat,” is proof that even the most unexpected and whimsical ideas can find footing through the power of blockchain technology and decentralized finance.

3. Pepe (1KPEPE-PERP): A deflationary memecoin based on the Ethereum chain inspired by Pepe the Frog. Despite its humorous nature, it does have a redistribution system that helps maintain stability of the token over time.

4. Shiba Inu (1KSHIB-PERP): Shiba Inu is a decentralized, Ethereum-based cryptocurrency. SHIB is backed by an engaging community, the appeal of its meme-inspired branding, and endorsements from notable personalities such as Musk and Buterin.

Infrastructure

5. Neo Smart Economy (
NEO-PERP): A blockchain platform that aims to create a scalable network of decentralized applications (dApps) with a focus on interoperability, digital identity, and integrating real-world assets through digitalization. It supports multiple programming languages for smart contract development and features a unique dual-token model, with NEO for network governance and GAS for transaction fees.

6. SUI.io (SUI-PERP): SUI is a layer 1 chain optimized for low-latency transfers on the blockchain. Unlike traditional blockchains, Sui is an object-centric model for its consensus and transaction mechanism, which results in processing speeds of >100,000 transactions per second.

7. The Ton Network (TON-PERP): The TON token is used on The Open Network (TON), a decentralized platform for hosting a range of services, from messaging and file storage to payments and decentralized apps. Its perks include high speed and scalability, designed to handle millions of transactions per second, making it one of the fastest blockchain networks in the world.

8. Wormhole (W-PERP): Wormhole is an interoperability protocol that provides a means of communication between blockchains or rollups. It utilizes a proof-of-transfer mechanism ensuring reliability and security of transfers for data, tokens, and more across multiple chains.

9. ZKSync (ZK-PERP): A Layer-2 protocol based on a “Zero-Knowledge” methodology. With a less congested network, users’ benefits include lower costs, faster transaction times, and greater scalability, while maintaining the security and fundamentals of the Ethereum chain.

DeFi

10. Ethena.fi (
ENA-PERP): Ethena’s answer to the “stablecoin trilemma”, ENA is a decentralized stablecoin protocol on Ethereum. Their primary offering, USDe, is pegged 1:1 to the USD dollar for stability and scalability. Its price peg is based on a risk management strategy called delta hedging, which helps reduce volatility and aims to become a reliable exchange medium.

11. Jupiter (JUP-PERP): A DEX swap aggregator that helps provide users the best prices through consolidating features and data from different pools and exchanges.

12. Pendle.fi (PENDLE-PERP): Pendle is a yield-trading protocol that operates permissionlessly and allows users to execute a range of yield-management strategies. Its main aim is to give users complete control over their yields, revolutionizing how we interact with yield-bearing assets.

DePIN

13. Render Network (
RNDR-PERP
): Render is a decentralized GPU rendering network developed on the Ethereum blockchain, designed to bridge the gap between artists and studios requiring GPU processing power and miners willing to lease their GPU resources.

AI

14. Fetch.ai (
FET-PERP): A blockchain platform that utilizes AI to create a decentralized, open, and permission-free machine learning platform powered by a cryptocurrency economy. Anyone can connect to it without needing permission, access secure data sets, and use autonomous AI to carry out tasks across its extensive data network.
