At the recent Taipei Blockchain Week, BTSE’s CEO, Henry Liu, participated in a stimulating panel discussion titled Exchanges: Ensuring Long-Term Stability and Resilience.

Joined by industry peers such as Josh Lu from BingX, Raphael Polansky from BitMex, and Carmen Tan from CoinW, Henry shared valuable insights from his extensive experience in the crypto space.

BTSE’s Mission and Vision

Henry (second from right) highlighted BTSE’s mission of enabling people to buy, trade, sell, and earn in the crypto world. With a focus on being a comprehensive crypto financial services and infrastructure provider, BTSE has developed a robust exchange platform, enterprise solutions, and a global payments system that facilitates seamless crypto transactions.

A Blend of CeFi and DeFi

A unique aspect of BTSE, as Henry pointed out, is its intersection of centralized finance (CeFi) and decentralized finance (DeFi). This blend, combined with the expertise of a team hailing from both traditional finance and DeFi, positions BTSE uniquely in the market. Henry emphasized the company’s dual approach: running its own successful exchange and assisting others in enhancing their operations, which in turn enriches BTSE’s offerings and liquidity.

Resilience in Challenging Times

Addressing the theme of the panel, Henry stressed the importance of resilience, especially in turbulent market conditions. He shared how BTSE invested significantly in its mid and back-office operations during the bear market, a strategic move that has fortified its infrastructure and positioned the company for sustainable growth.

Future-Forward Approach

Looking ahead, Henry spoke about the rapidly evolving nature of the crypto industry and the importance of learning from the past. BTSE is committed to working closely with regulators across different countries, ensuring compliance while providing a global crypto experience. Innovations such as non-identifying KYC methods are on BTSE’s radar, reflecting its dedication to staying at the forefront of technological advancements.

Selective and Protective Approach

Henry also touched upon the responsibility of exchanges in filtering projects and tokens, ensuring that users have access to quality investment options. This selective approach underlines BTSE’s commitment to user protection and trust.
