BTSE Lists CELR, CVX, MANA, and OMG

BTSE is pleased to bring four fresh tokens onto the platform, growing the selection of quality digital assets available to its users.

  1. Celer Network (CELR)
  2. Convex Finance (CVX)
  3. Decentraland (MANA)
  4. OMG Network (OMG)

1. Celer Network (CELR)

Celer Network (CELR) is the native token of Celer Network, a layer 2 scaling platform set up to bring fast, secure, and low-cost applications in DeFi, micropayment, and gaming to mass adoption.

CELR can be utilized in four main ways in the ecosystem: pay for service and transaction fees to off-chain service providers; earn rewards through staking; serve as an incentive for maintaining a stable and abundant liquidity pool; and help increase the priority of liquidity backing bids, which can mean higher liquidity interest payout.

2. Convex Finance (CVX)

Convex Finance (CVX) is the utility token of Convex Finance, a protocol that allows liquidity providers (LPs) to earn trading fees and claim extra Curve (CRV) rewards by staking CRV LP tokens, rather than locking CRV themselves. CVX is provided as an incentive for LPs and can be staked for more rewards. It also serves as a governance token for the platform for token holders to vote on different proposals.

3. Decentraland (MANA)

MANA refers to the native token in Decentraland, a decentralized virtual reality (VR) world on Ethereum. Users can use MANA to purchase virtual properties, including lands and collectibles, and pay for goods and services in Decentraland, which was launched in beta in 2017. The price of MANA surged to an all-time high of $4.11 on Oct 31, 2021, soon after Facebook rebranded to Meta, signaling its pointed move into the metaverse space.

4. OMG Network (OMG)

OMG Network (OMG) is the utility token of OMG Foundation. Its core developer Enya is creating a new Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution called the Boba Network in collaboration with the OMG Foundation. Users and developers can utilize OMG to pay for services on the OMG Network. The token recently hit new highs, at just under $20, in early November 2021. Some have questioned its “store of value” capability, while its limited max supply (just over 140 million) has been compared to that of Bitcoin.
