Exploring the Highlighted Strategies Section on AutoTrader

Today, we’re going to go over the Highlighted Strategies section on AutoTrader.

AutoTrader has thousands and thousands of trading strategies for you to copy, but oftentimes users don’t know where to start.

Because of this reason, we’ve created short lists of strategies for you to choose from, which can be found on the AutoTrader homepage.

The first category is Trending, which highlights strategies that have been performing well recently and are on an up trend.

You can take a look at each strategy’s duration and assess whether you think it’ll continue to perform well. In this case, most of these trending strategies have been shortlisted because of their performance in the last few hours.

The second category is Highest Return. which ranks strategies based on their recent historical returns. These returns are ranked on a longer-term basis, as you can see here, their performance is typically assessed based on the past ten hours or longer.

It’s up to you to decide whether or not you think these strategies will continue to do well.

The third category is Lowest Return, which highlights the lowest performing strategies over the past day or so.

Now why would you want to invest in strategies that aren’t performing well? It actually makes a lot of sense if you believe that the market is about to turn directions – while these strategies might have underperformed over the last day or so, that means that they could have lower remaining downside and it might be a good time to buy in if you think the market is about to reverse.

The last category we have is Most Active, which ranks strategies based on their trading volumes or how actively they are executing trades on behalf of users.

High trading volumes typically means that other users in the BTSE community are comfortable putting their money to work in these strategies.

It also means that the strategies are executing a lot of trades, meaning that their ability to react to market signals is strong.

And we’re done. We’ve covered all four categories in the highlighted section on AutoTrader. Now it’s up to you to decide which ones you want to invest in.
